As late summer evenings warm the air, both Sweden’s long communal tables and China’s bustling night markets overflow with towering piles of crayfish. On August 24th, the feast kicks off in Nosh and Chow’s courtyard as we host our annual Chinese crayfish party.

The love for this crustacean is something our two homelands proudly share—and at Surfers, we celebrate that with our long-standing tradition of throwing a crayfish feast in our courtyard.
In the soft summer breeze, we stir-fry crayfish tableside and crack open a 10-year-old jar of Shaoxing wine using the kitchen’s largest cleaver. Expect plenty of laughter as piles of spicy, garlicky crayfish are chased by tiny, potent glasses raised in shouts of “Skål!” and “Ganbei!”
And what’s a crayfish party without the perfect drinks? To complete the experience, we offer the ultimate drink package featuring generous pours of 10-year-old Shaoxing wine and shots of three different types of baijiu.
