Well then, since our summer secret is finally out, we can at last tell you all about it.
On 6 June, Surfers is rolling into Skansen with our very own Rice & Noodle Shop, in the shape of a food truck.
Yes, you heard that right. Noodles, rice, slow-cooked dishes, heat, acidity, and Chinese flavours in the heart of Solliden, right by the legendary Solliden stage.
This is something we have dreamed about for a long time. To create a truck that can pop up in different places and spread Chinese food culture feels incredibly special. And for the first stop to be Skansen, one of Sweden’s most iconic cultural institutions, almost feels too big and too fun to be true.
The menu will feature a selection of rice and noodle dishes, including a cold noodle dish, slow-cooked chuck, and flavours inspired by northwestern China. Throughout the summer, we will keep playing, tasting, and building on the menu with even more rice and noodle dishes.
And we are not the only ones moving into Solliden. On the same date, Calle P will open its new Deli & Bar on site, and Hasselsons, known from Gothenburg and Stockholm, will also be joining us by the Solliden stage.
We are so excited to bring Surfers out into the summer and into Skansen.
